This program focuses on literacy readiness skills. Students learn to identify and name letters. They learn to listen for rhyme and order of sounds in sequences. Students play with sounds they hear in words and begin to manipulate the sounds. This intervention is primarily used in kindergarten and first grade.

Early Reading Empowerment (ERE)
ERE is a small group program which empowers students to become independent readers who are confident problem solvers who use strategic problem solving to read and write. Students work with teachers either one on one or in a two on one group. They read books, complete word work, and write daily. All of the instruction is specifically designed to meet each student's reading and writing needs. This intervention is primarily used in first grade.

This program focuses on teaching phonics through a multi-sensory approach. Students learn specific phonetic concepts and practice these concepts through auditory, visual, and kinesthetic activities. Students also learn syllabication patterns and spelling rules. Red words, or more commonly know as sight words, are also taught in a multi-sensory way. This intervention is used in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Students learn to identify and understand prefixes and suffixes, practice and review phonetic sounds, build academic vocabulary, and ultimately build fluency. They are taught to use a strategy to assist them in decoding multisyllabic words. This intervention is primarily used in fourth and fifth grade.
